pG5

Plasmid clone of 972 bp human G5 sequence, which was isolated from beta-globin replication origin as a minimum sequence required for gene amplification.

Catalog number RDB18709
Resource name pG5
Clone info. Plasmid clone of 972 bp human G5 sequence, which was isolated from beta-globin replication origin as a minimum sequence required for gene amplification. By PCR-amplifying the G5 sequence and incorporating it into an expression vector or by the transfection with an expression vector along with tandem repeat sequence made by ligation of the PCR-amplified G5 sequence, cells with high expression of the gene of interest can be obtained. Please refer to Fig.4 of Okada, N. et al. PLoS One, 8 (10): e77350, 2013.
