SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameC.KOR1-Traf3ip2<adjm>
Former Common nameatopic dermatitis; BALB/c.NAD
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strainBALB/cAJcl
Appearancealbino
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Yoshibumi Matsushima, Research Institute for Clinical Oncology, Saitama Cancer Center.
Strain descriptionBALB/c congenic strain having a sponatenous mutation found in a colony of the KOR inbred strain derived from Japanese wild mice. Homozygous mutant mice show high levels of serum IgE and an atopic dermatitis (AD)-like skin disease. The pehotype of this strain is less than on the KOR orinigal strain. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
Colony maintenance
