Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | B6.129P2-Sirpa<tm1Nog>/Rbrc |
Former Common name | SHPS-1 Knockout mice |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | E14.1 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
Background strain | C57BL/6NJcl |
Appearance | black |
Strain development | Developed by Dr. Kenjiro Inagaki, Kobe University School of Medicine in 2000. The construct was electoroporated into E14.1 ES cells derived from 129P2/OlaHsd. The mutant mice were backcrossed C57BL/6N over 10 times. |
Strain description | SHPS-1 knockout mice. Exon 7 and 8 were replaced with a nemoycin selection cassette. SHPS-1 (Ptpns1, protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type substrate 1) gene ia a member of sinal-regulatory proteins, plays a impotant roles in integrin-mediated cytoskeletal reoganization, cell motility and the regulation of Rho. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6NJcl]. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile. |
