Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Atsushi Kuroiwa, Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University. lacZ-SV40 poly A-loxP-PGK-neo-poly A loxP. In frame insertion of a lacZ gene with a SV40 poly A into the first coding exon followed by a floxed PGK-neo cassette. PGK-neo was excised by crossing with mice expressing cre recombinase.
Strain descriptionPrep2(Pknox2) is a transcriptional regulator having TALE momeodomain, and is involved in transcriptinal regulation by binding to the target sequence as a heterodimer with transcription factor of Pbx having TALE homeodomain. lacZ-SV40 poly A-loxP-PGK-neo-poly A loxP. In frame insertion of a lacZ gene with a SV40 poly A into the first coding exon followed by a floxed PGK-neo cassette. PGK-neo was excised by crossing with mice expressing cre recombinase.
