Strain description | Pleiotrophin (PTN) knock-out mice, Ptn is a low molecular weight protein that regulates cell growth, survival and migration and other activities of responding cells. Ptn gene strongly expresses in the brain at the later mouse embryogenesis, In the human, it is known that the expression of Ptn gene is observed at the ischemic injury in various cancer. |
