Strain developmentDeveloped by Michihiko Sugimoto and Kuniya Abe, RIKEN BioResource center in 2008. TT2 (B6CBF1 derived) ES cells were used to generate the targeted mice. C57BL/6 and CBA mixed (C57BL/6 semicongenic).
Strain descriptionVps52 2lox2frt (neo) targeted mice in which Frt-neo cassette (PGK-neo) was inserted upstream of exon 2, and two loxP sites were located in introns 1 and 2. Homozygous mutant mice were embryonic lethal. Line 95 (main line) (RBRC02794), Line 16 (sub line) (RBRC02832), Line 20 (sub line) (RBRC02857).
