Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | C.129P2(B6)-Sirpa<tm1Nog> |
Former Common name | SIRP alpha mutant mice |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | E14.1 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
Background strain | BALB/cAJcl |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Kenjiro Inagaki at Kobe University in 2000. A neomycin selection cassette replaced exons 7 and 8 of the M83 gene. The mutant mice were backcrossed C57BL/6N for 5 times, and then backcrossed to BALB/c over 15 times. |
Strain description | SHPS-1 (Ptpns1, protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type substrate 1) gene is a member of sinal-regulatory proteins, plays a impotant roles in integrin-mediated cytoskeletal reoganization, cell motility and the regulation of Rho. |
