BRC No.RBRC05427
TypeTransgeneCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain name129.B6C3-Tg(Dkk3-cre)D9Tfur
Former Common name129-Dkk3-cre Tg
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Takahisa Furukawa, Osaka Bioscience Institute in 2007. The transgene was injected into the B6C3F1 fertilized eggs. The transgenic mice were backcrossed to 126S6 mice over 8 generations.
Strain descriptionThis transgenic mouse expresses Cre recombinase gene under the control of the 12-kb mouse Dkk3 promoter. Cre activity is detectable from embryonic day 10.5 (E10.5) and generally restricted to the retina during embryogenesis.
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Noncarrier [or Crossing to 129S6/SvEvTac]
