BRC No.RBRC05428
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6;129-Engase<tm1Tasuz>
Former Common name
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineNot specified (ES cell)
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Tadashi Suzuki, RIKEN Advanced Science Institute. A PGK-neo selection cassette was transferred into 129 ES cells to replace Exon 5 of Engase gene. The mutant mice were backcrossed C57BL/6 over 6 times.
Strain descriptionEngase knockout mice. Exon 5 of Engase gene was replaced with a PGK-neo selection cassette. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality.
