ES Cell line | CSL3[129S6/SvEvTac] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Kenji Tanaka, Columbia University in 2007. CSL3 ES cells derived from 129S6/SvEvTac were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J over 6 times. |
Strain description | Htr5B-tTA knock-in mice. The tetracycline-controlled transactivator (tTA) gene was inserted into the Htr5b gene. tTA expression is detected in medial habenular and inferior olivary nuclei, and hippocampus CA1 region. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl] |
