SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.129P2-Gt(ROSA)26Sor<tm2.1(CAG-EGFP)Maoh>
Former Common nameB6-ROSA26/CAG-GFP
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14TG2a [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDevelop by Masato Ohtsuka, Tokai University School of Medicine in 2010. The mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6JJcl. Extra sequence in the RMCE<ex> was removed by FLPe injection.
Strain descriptionThe mice having a CAG-EGFP-polyA cassette at the ROSA26 locus that were generated by RMCE (Recombinase-mediated cassette exchange). The mutant mice exhibit ubiquitous and very bright fluorescence.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl]
