Strain developmentDeveloped by Haruhiko Koseki, RIKEN Center for Allergy and Immunology, and Miguel Vidal, Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas in 2002. R1 ES cells derived from (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl<+> were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J at least 5 times.
Strain descriptionRing1B (Rnf2) gene floxed mice. A loxP site was inserted upstream of Exon 2 including the ATG codon. A floxed neo cassette was inserted into intron 2.
