SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Klf9<tm1.1Hko>
Former Common nameKLF9 delta lox/+ (GWAS003), B6-Klf9 KO
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineM1 [(C57BL/6 x 129)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Haruhiko Koseki, RIKEN Center for Allergy and Immunology. M1 ES cells derived from (C57BL/6 x 129))F1-Kitl<+> were used for the generation of knockout mice. Part of exon 1 and neo cassette were removed by crossing with CAG-Cre mice (C57BL/6 background). The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain descriptionKlf9 gene knockout mice. A part of exon 1 was removed. Homozygous mice show no obvious abnormality.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl]
