Former Common nameB6-Tet-HCN4#1, B6-Hcn4/tTA KI#1
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineTT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Takahiro Ishii, Noriyuki Nakashima and Harunori Ohmori, Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto University. TT2 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6 and ICR over 20 times, respectively. C57BL/6 background (line 1: RBRC06038, line 2: RBRC06039), ICR background (line 1: RBRC06040, line 2: RBRC06040).
Strain descriptionHcn4 tTA knock-in mice.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6NCrSlc] Homozygous mutant mice may be embryonic lethal.
