Strain developmentDeveloped by Itaru Imayoshi and Ryoichiro Kageyama, Institute for Virus Research, Kyoto University in 2007. TT2 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6 for 6 times.
Strain descriptionHes1 gene floxed mice. LoxP sequences were knocked into the first intron and downstream of 3'UTR of Hes1 gene for conditional knock-out study. PGK-Neo sequence was removed.
