Strain development | Developed by Hironori Izumi and Hisashi Mori, Graduate School of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Toyama in 2011. |
Strain description | Arc-luc BAC transgenic. A transggene construct containing sequence encoding Luc2 ORF under the control of the mouse Arc promoter derived from the BAC library (BAC clone PR24-388I10) was injected into the C57BL/6N fertilized eggs. |
Colony maintenance | Carrier x Carrier [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJmsSlc] Homozygous Tg mice are viable and fertile. |
