BRC No.RBRC06142
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.129-Tnfsf11<tm1>
Former Common nameRANKL flox, B6-Tnfsf11 floxed
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineNot specified (ES cell)
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Toshio Fumoto and Kyoji Ikeda, National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology (2009-2013). 129Sv/EvTac derived ES cells were used. Frt flanked neo cassette was removed by crossing with CAG-FLPe (B6). The mutant mice were crossed C57BL/6 OVER 9 times.
Strain descriptionRANKL (Tnfsf11) gene floxed mice. Exons 3 and 4 were flanked by loxP site.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJmsSlc] Homozygous mice show no obvious abnormality.
