Strain developmentDeveloped by Yayoi Ikawa and Hiroshi Hamada, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University in 2008. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6C3F1 fertilized eggs. C57BL/6, C3H and DBA/2 mixed background.
Strain descriptionBAC Tacstd1 creER transgenic mice. The mice were generated by using a BAC clone containing the mouse Tacstd1 gene, PR23-315D17. The creERT2 gene was inserted into the downstream of Tacstd1 promoter.
