Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Toshiyuki Fukuda, RIKEN Center for Allergy and Immunology in 2013. R1 ES cells derived from (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl<+> were used for the generation of floxed mice. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J over 9 times.
Strain descriptionZip10 (Slc39a10) gene floxed mice. Exons from 6 to 8 were flanked by loxP sites.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl]
