TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.129P2-Hmgb1<tm1Ttg>
Former Common nameHmgb1 cKO, B6-Hmgb1 floxed
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14.1 [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Hideyuki Yanai and Tadatsugu Taniguchi, Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo and Nobuaki Yoshida, Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo in 2011. E14.1 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionHmgb1 gene floxed mice. Exons 2 to 4 were flanked by loxP sites. Homozygous mutant mice are viable, but show weak fertility.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl]
