This mouse is useful for Echinococcosis research that contains resistance genes of B6 and this strain is developed by laboratory of laboratory animal sciences and medicine, Hokkaido University, Japan in 2014. Strain description | DB-PSCsub1 congenic strain carries resistance genetic loci that hinder protoscolex development, integrated from B6 mice into DBA/2 (D2) background mice by backcrossing with D2. This mouse is useful to study for Echinococcosis infection. Derived from C57BL/6NCrSlc and DBA/2CrSlc. |
