Strain development | Developed by Shohei Hori, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences. M1 ES cells (C57BL/6Jx129/Sv F1) were used. The neo gene was removed by crossing to CAG-Cre mice, and then the mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J over 12 generations. C57BL/6 congenic line. |
Strain description | Knockin mice expressing eGFP-Cre under the control of the Foxp3 (forkhead box P3) gene locus. A DNA fragment containing IRES and eGFP-Cre was knocked in at 3’ UTR (between stop codon and endogenous polyA) of the Foxp3 gene. |
