Strain developmentDeposited by Toshiakizu Kakizaki, Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine in 2017. RENKA ES cells derived from C57BL/6N was used. A neo gene was removed by crossing with a Flp mouse line. C57BL/6 genetic background.
Strain descriptionCre knock-in mouse at the translation initiation codon of the Slc6a5 (Glyt2) gene. Homozygous mice are lethal by 2 weeks after their birth.
