Strain development | Developed by Alexander M Wolf, G Nippon Medical School in 2012. Transgenic construct was injected into fertilized eggs derived from C57BL/6J. Mice were backcrossed to Hos:HR-1 for more than 10 generations. Mice were maintained as heterozygote. |
Strain description | Transgenic mice expressing ratiometric redox-sensitive GFP (PDHL/roGFP1) in the mitochondria of several tissue under the human EF1A promoter. Redox states can be monitored at skin. |
