Strain description | Gprc5b(G protein-coupled receptor, family C, group 5, member B)knockout mice. Mutants exhibit suppression to obesity progression and insulin resistance induced by overeating. This strain is useful for research in obesity and type II diabetes. About 24 % mutants die by postnatal day 12. Deficit in motor learning. |
