ES Cell lineV6.5 [(C57BL/6J x 129S4/SvJae)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Hirofumi Shibata and his colleagues in 2015, and deposited by Yasuhiro Yamada, Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University. V6.5 ES cells derived from (C57BL/6 x 129S4/SvJae)F1 were used. Mixed genetic background.
Strain descriptionCompound mouse line harboring the following two loci; 1, loxP-Pgk-neo-loxP-rtTA3 is knocked in at the Rosa26 locus, 2, tetO-OSKM-ires-mCherry is knocked in at the Col1a1 locus. OSKM stands for Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc.
