Strain developmentDeveloped by Haruhiko Koseki and Kyoichi isono, RIKEN, in 2003. M1(B6/129 ) ES cells were used. This strain was backcrossed to C57BL/6J twice.
Strain descriptionFloxed Zfp593 (zinc finger protein 593) mice. Four exons were replaced with a neo cassette.
