Strain development | Deposited and developed by Makoto Noda, Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine. E14(129P2/OlaHsd)ES cells were used. This strain was backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 13 generations. C57BL/6 congenic strain. |
Strain description | Reck (reversion-inducing-cysteine-rich protein with kazal motifs) mutant mice. Exon 1 was replaced with a loxP site. Neo fragment was removed by crossing with EIIa-cre. Homozygous mutants are embryonically lethal at E9.5-E10.5. |
