Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Tomonori Fujiwara, Kyorin University in 2013. TT2 ES cells were used. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 9 generations. This strain was derived from ES clone #211. |
Strain description | Stx1b (syntaxin 1B) knockout mice. Homozygous mutants die by postnatal day 14. Heterozygous mutnats are viable and fertile, but prone to develop convulsive seizure. |
