BRC No.RBRC10249
TypeTargeted Mutation CongenicCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Stx1b<tm1Tfuj>/211
Former Common nameSyntaxin1B
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineTT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Tomonori Fujiwara, Kyorin University in 2013. TT2 ES cells were used. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 9 generations. This strain was derived from ES clone #211.
Strain descriptionStx1b (syntaxin 1B) knockout mice. Homozygous mutants die by postnatal day 14. Heterozygous mutnats are viable and fertile, but prone to develop convulsive seizure.
