Strain development | Developed by Katsuhiko Mikoshiba, RIKEN Brain Science Institute in 2009. TT2 ES cells were used and this subline #1 was backcrossed to C57BL/6 for 13 generations. C57BL/6 congenic line. |
Strain description | hcyl1 (S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase-like 1) floxed mice. FRT-flanked Neo gene is placed at intron 1 of the Ahcyl1 gene. A pair of loxP sites flank the FRT-flanked Neo and exon 2 of the Ahcyl1 gene. TT2 ES cells were used and this subline #1 was backcrossed to C57BL/6 for 13 generations. C57BL/6 congenic line. |
