TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Itpr2<tm1Kmik> Itpr3<tm1Kmik>
Former Common nameIP3R2 IP3R3 double knockout mice
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineJ1 [129S4/SvJae]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Katsuhiko Mikoshiba, RIKEN Brain Science Institute in 2005. J1 ES cells derived from 129S4/SvJae were used for Itpr2. R1 ES cells derived from (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1 were used for Itpr3. C57BL/6J congenic line by crossing with C57BL/6 for 10 generations.
Strain descriptionDouble KO line for Itpr2 (inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor 2) and Itpr3 (inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate receptor 3). Each modified allele is derived from RBRC10289 and RBRC10290.
