Strain development | Developed by Yasunori Kanaho and Tsunaki Hongu, University of Tsukuba in 2006. R1 ES cells derived from (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl<+> was used, and then mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J over 10 generations. |
Strain description | Pld1 (phospholipase D1) knockout mice. A loxP site was inserted upstream of Exon 13. An FRT-flanked neo fragment with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 13. The neo fragment and Exon 13 were removed by crossing with a Ayu1-Cre mouse. |
