BRC No.RBRC10392
TypeTargeted Mutation CongenicCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Ebf3<tm1(cre/ERT2)Tng>
Former Common nameEbf3-CreERT2
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineKY1.1[(C57BL/6J x 129S6/SvEvTac)F1]
Background strainC57BL/6NCrSlc
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Masanari Seike, Osaka University in 2016. KY1.1(129/B6) ES cells were used, and then mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 10 generations. C57BL/6J congenic strain.
Strain descriptionEbf3-CreERT knock-in mice. These mice have a tamoxifen-inducible cre (CreERT2) at the Ebf3 locus. IRES-CreERT2 and FRT-PGKpro-neo-pA-FRT cassettes were inserted into the 3' UTR of exon 16 of the Ebf3 locus.
Colony maintenance
References
Stem cell niche-specific Ebf3 maintains the bone marrow cavity.
