BRC No.RBRC10429
TypeChemically-induced Mutation
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6N(D2)-Jak1<spade>/RgscHko
Former Common nameSpade-B6N(N7)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strainC57BL/6JJcl
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Hisahiro Yoshida RIKEN, in 2003. This strain was backcrossed to C57BL/6N for 7 generations.
Strain descriptionENU mutant mice for the Jak1 gene. A point mutation in the Jak1 gene, which increase a kinase activity of Jak1. Mutants develop dermatitis around 8 to 10 weeks of their age.
Colony maintenance
References
Hyperactivation of JAK1 tyrosine kinase induces stepwise, progressive pruritic dermatitis.
