BRC No.RBRC10843
TypeTargeted Mutation CongenicCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Rit1<tm1(A57G)Tumg>
Former Common nameRit1A57G Neo/+ (C57BL/6J background)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineBruce 4 [B6.Cg-Thy1<a>]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Yoko Aoki and Shin-ichi Inoue, Tohoku University School of Medicine in 2019. BRUCE-4 ES cells were used. C57BL/6 congenic line.
Strain descriptionKnock-in mutants in which a point mutation (A57G) was introduced at Exon 4 of the Rit1 gene. Floxed stop cassette and Frt-flnaked Neo cassette remain at intron 3.
Colony maintenance
References
New Noonan syndrome model mice with RIT1 mutation exhibit cardiac hypertrophy and susceptibility to beta-adrenergic stimulation-induced cardiac fibrosis.
