SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6NJcl.Cg-Mdga2<tm1Tymo>
Former Common nameMdga2 KO
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineTT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Tohru Yamamoto, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Hokkaido University. TT2 (B6CBF1 derived) ES cells were used to generate Mdga2 knockout mice. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6N. C57BL/N congenic strain.
Strain descriptionMdga2 gene knockout mice. Exon 1 of the Mdga2 gene was replaced with lacZ and neo cassette.
