SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameC57BL/6-Gt(ROSA)26Sor<tm1.1(CAG-tdTomato)Imayo>
Former Common nameR26-CAG-LoxP-tdTom
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeposited by Itaru Imayoshi, Kyoto University in 2021 and generated in collaboration with Hiroyuki Okuno, Kagoshima University. EGR-101 ES cells derived from C57BL/6N were used to generate this strain.
Strain descriptiontdTomato fluorescent protein is expressed after both Cre-and FLP-recombination. The transgene construct is knocked into Rosa26-locus. To achieve high-level transgene expression, tdTomato is expressed under CAG promoter and WPRE sequence is inserted into 3’ UTR region. FRT-Stop-FRT cassette was removed by crossing pCAG-FLPe strain.
