Strain development | Deposited by Itaru Imayoshi, Kyoto University in 2021 and generated in collaboration with Hiroyuki Okuno, Kagoshima University. EGR-101 ES cells derived from C57BL/6N were used to generate this strain. |
Strain description | tdTomato fluorescent protein is expressed after both Cre-and FLP-recombination. The transgene construct is knocked into Rosa26-locus. To achieve high-level transgene expression, tdTomato is expressed under CAG promoter and WPRE sequence is inserted into 3’ UTR region. loxP-Stop-loxP cassette was removed by injecting pIC-Cre expression plasmid to the fertilized eggs. |
