Strain development | Deposited by Yusaki Nakabeppu, Kyusyu University in 2022. This strain was generated using CCE/EK.CCE ES Cell derived from 129S/SvEv-Gpi1<c> and then mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 41 generations. C57BL/6J congenic strain. |
Strain description | A destabilized variant of the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) was inserted in frame in exon 2 and the remainder of exon 2 and all of exon 3 were replaced by a floxed neo cassette via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. |
