G-CaMP4.1

Genetically-encoded fluorescent calcium sensor cDNA, G-CaMP4.1.

Catalog number RDB14606
Resource name G-CaMP4.1
Clone info. Genetically-encoded fluorescent calcium sensor cDNA. It encodes a fusion protein of EGFP, calmodulin, and the M13 peptide from myosin light chain kinase. G-CaMP4 is a calcium sensor with a faster kinetics and a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to G-CaMP2, G-CaMP4.1 is an improved form of G-CaMP4 that reduced side effects on intracellular signal transduction system.
Comment Expression was confirmed by the depositor with calcium imaging.
Vector backbone pEGFP-N1 (plasmid)
Size of vector backbone 4.7 kb
Selectable markers Kan^R (E. coli), Neo^r (mammalian cells).
